The staff at Pine Ridge Day Camp believes that it is important for your child to escape from the pressures of modern society and experience activities in a natural environment that stimulates creativity, builds self-esteem and promotes a healthy lifestyle. Our staff is committed to providing a quality camp experience for each camper that allows “a kid to be a kid”. Your child will be able to explore natural habitats, learn swimming skills, enjoy lakeside activities, learn to ride horses, pet farm animals and participate in many group activities– all kinds of things that make up the wonderment of childhood. These experiences will help them grow and mature in ways not afforded elsewhere.

Counselors come together for intensive orientation, training and brainstorming sessions prior to camp that allow for the creativity and attention needed to make your child’s experience pleasurable. We maintain a low staff to camper ratio that ensures every camper is able to maximize their camping experience and our safety precautions include lifeguards stationed at all water activities and a full-time nurse.
